Today is the day!
I made the deadline for Graduate School!
This morning I submitted all application materials to the Department of English. It was a great feeling to proudly hand deliver my manuscript, Dear Lawyer under the category, Creative Non-Fiction.
Now, I wait until February to see whether or not I get accepted. I am praying for good things.
The manuscript is 56 pages long, which includes an Introduction, Prologue and PART I: Chapters, 1, 2, 3 and 4. Chapter 4 was the most difficult chapter to write. Here's the beginning of that chapter...then, you'll know why.
- Chapter 4 –
One Week Later
Exactly a week after I wrote the letter to Goon CEO,
In my world, every October 14th is a personal day of mourning; It’s the only time I think about what happened; On all other days, I struggle not to, but there’s always something that triggers a memory like the numbers 14 and 41, or the time of day, 10:14 AM and 10:14 PM. It’s like my very own Friday the 13th with my name on it and stamped with the devil’s signature.
This is what and how it happened..."
